Empowering Girls Through Stitching and Embroidery Training

Our NGO proudly presents a transformative initiative Parwaaz: the Stitching and Embroidery Training Centre for girls from underprivileged backgrounds. This program is designed to equip these young women with valuable skills that can lead to sustainable livelihoods, fostering self-reliance and confidence. We have been into this program since 1990 and here we proudly announce that we have equipped more than 1700 young ladies with this vocation.

Our Mission

We aim to break the cycle of poverty by providing skill-based training that empowers girls to create a better future for themselves and their families. By focusing on stitching and embroidery, we offer a pathway to financial independence and creative expression.

The Training Program

Our comprehensive training program covers:

  • Basic to Advanced Stitching Techniques: Ensuring participants gain proficiency in garment construction and repairs.
  • Embroidery Skills: Teaching intricate designs and patterns that enhance the aesthetic appeal of garments.
  • Entrepreneurial Guidance: Providing insights into starting a small business, marketing products, and managing finances.

Impact and Outcomes

  • Economic Empowerment: Graduates of our program can pursue careers in tailoring, open their own boutiques, or work as freelance designers.
  • Community Development: As these young women become self-sufficient, they contribute to the economic growth of their communities.
  • Preservation of Cultural Heritage: Our embroidery training includes traditional patterns, helping to preserve and celebrate local cultural heritage.

How You Can Help

We invite companies and individuals to join us in this noble cause. Your support can come in various forms:

  • Donations: Financial contributions to fund training materials, sewing machines, and scholarships.
  • Collaboration: Partnering with us to provide job placements, apprenticeships, or sponsorships for advanced training.
  • Volunteerism: Sharing expertise in stitching, embroidery, business management, or mentorship.

By supporting our cause, you are investing in the future of these young women, giving them the tools to lift themselves out of poverty and build a brighter, more secure future. Let’s work together to create lasting change and empowerment. Join us in this vital mission. Your contribution can transform lives, one stitch at a time.

Project Udaan

Worth mentioning here is the recent launch of “PROJECT UDAAN” that has literally given wings to our team to realise their dreams. We are much indebted to the brand “PIRAAHAN” for having faith in our girls and outsourced stitching various products, as desired, These designs are comparable to any high end products in today’s market.
